Being at the right place at the right time is vitally important in Val Thorens. While there are parties everyday, not just the weekends like in the North America (I’m looking at you Whistler!), there are definitely party “shifts”. It took me my first week in Val Thorens to figure those out, so you’re lucky you found my blog not waste one hour at the wrong (not) party … or in line hoping to get in. Get your dancing shoes ready! Parties don’t stop until 4am … Gives whole new meaning to “last call, first chair!”

Below are the most popular parties and the approximate times you should go. I err on the side of earlier so you can actually get in, instead of just standing outside longingly.
